Holidays in quarters. Autumn holidays are approaching in Russian schools When are the holidays in September?

The educational process of schoolchildren must be balanced. Vacations are no less important than school days. In most Russian schools there are 4 types of holidays: summer, autumn, winter, spring. When are the autumn holidays at school in 2018 2019. When is winter break at school in 2018 2019. When is spring break at school in 2018 2019. When are summer holidays at school in 2018 2019.

Holiday calendar 2018-2019

Each school can set its own vacation schedule, adhering to the recommendations developed in legislative acts. Summer holidays must be no shorter than 8 weeks. And school holidays during the academic year should not be less than 30 calendar days. Vacations must begin on Monday and cannot be shifted by more than 2 weeks.

The 2018-2019 academic year begins on September 1. The educational process will last 34 weeks, excluding final certification, and the holidays will last 18 weeks.

In addition, schoolchildren will have a rest on public holidays.

  • Spring break – from March 23 to March 31, 2019.
  • Additional holidays for first-graders – from February 4 to February 10, 2019.

Each school can choose its own vacation schedule, but it is necessary to meet the established deadlines.

Russia is a huge country. It happens that due to unforeseen circumstances (natural disasters, quarantine) children cannot go to school. If this continues for 3-4 days, then the students are able to catch up with the program. But in cases where students do not attend school for more than a week, the vacation schedule may be changed. Or some days off can be used as school days.

How to organize a vacation

Before leaving for the holidays, all children must listen to instructions on how to behave correctly during the holidays. Class teachers must explain to students what can be done and what cannot be done.

A separate topic should be devoted to traffic rules, since a large number of road accidents involving children occur during the holidays.

If students go on summer vacation, parents must inform where and with whom their children will be. Before the summer holidays, parents must also listen to the instructions and sign for it.

What to do with your child during the holidays

How fast children grow. Just recently, a baby was snoring comfortably in his crib. He constantly needed love and care: feed him, change him, calm him down. Now he is already a schoolboy, an individual, a person capable of coming home from school, changing into home clothes, having something to eat, and even, if he’s in the mood, washing up after himself and sitting down to his homework. But it’s too early for parents to relax. He is still a child and needs the supervision and attention of his parents. Especially during the holidays, when he has a lot of free time. What you can do with your child during the holidays largely depends on the time of year in which they fall.

Autumn vacation

The first holidays from the beginning of the school year are the autumn holidays. Autumn is a very beautiful time of year. So that your child can appreciate all its charm, take him to the forest or park. There you can show your child what trees, shrubs and herbs grow in our area. Explain why the leaves fall in the fall and make a beautiful bouquet out of them. And at the same time, collect beautiful twigs, berries, pine cones and make fun crafts out of them, ideas for which you can spy on the Internet or come up with something to suit your taste. Such products can be an excellent gift for grandparents or home decoration. They will help preserve the memory of a wonderful autumn day. The autumn holidays are followed by winter holidays.

The winter vacation

In winter, it's time to take out the sleds, skis or skates from the mezzanine. If you don’t have money for a ski resort or indoor skating rink, it doesn’t matter. You can have a great time with a sled on the nearest slide or yard skating rink, if there is one. And after riding to your heart's content, build a snowman, play in the snow, or just roll around in the snow.

Spring break

You can also spend spring break outdoors. Put on rubber boots and become brave captains of paper boats that you can launch in the surrounding streams and puddles. Or go to the park to admire nature coming to life after winter. If you collect a bouquet of twigs with buds and, when you come home, put them in water, then tiny leaves will soon appear on them. Not only children, but also adults will be happy to watch their gradual appearance.

Summer holidays

Summer holidays are the longest and most suitable for outdoor recreation. Parents have the opportunity to come up with something new at least every day. Biking, rollerblading or walking. Hiking and kayaking on the river or relaxing on the beach. Football, beach volleyball or picnics with the whole family. Picking berries and mushrooms or reading a book on a park bench. It all depends on temperament, physical capabilities, or simply the mood of the parents and child.

If the weather leaves much to be desired.

Outdoor recreation is very useful for all family members, but if suddenly the weather is completely inclement: be it unbearable heat in the summer, drizzling autumn rain or severe winter cold, you can always go to the theater, museum, library, water park or sit in a cozy cafe.

At home with baby

Unfortunately, sometimes it happens that plans are made, but the weather or the health of one of the family members fails. Then numerous board games, funny charades, crafts, reading aloud or family films can come to the rescue. The main thing is not to be lazy and not be afraid to come up with something new. After all, the ease and mood with which your treasure will go through the subsequent educational period depends on how beneficially the holidays were spent for the soul and body.

Holidays are the best time for schoolchildren. Students look forward to each rest period with great impatience. And the spring holidays 2017-2018 are perhaps the most long-awaited of them: the third quarter, the longest and most difficult, ends in the spring, spring is the proximity of the end of the school year, the onset of warmth and the making of plans for the summer. What date does spring break start in 2018? Let's look a little more closely.

Every year, the Ministry of Education brings to the attention of municipal education departments, and through them to individual educational institutions, the school holiday schedule. The schedule is drawn up taking into account the hours allocated for study and rest.

However, there are no plans for the 2017-2018 academic year yet: the department is drafting such documents several months before the start of the new academic year. Accordingly, the vacation schedule has not yet been approved. But knowing when spring break began in 2017, you can calculate the vacation dates yourself.

The approximate days of spring break for the 2017-2018 academic year are March 26 – April 1.

That is, students will go on a long vacation on Saturday, March 24 (or on Sunday, March 25, if there is a six-day school week). You will have to return to school on Monday, April 2. Thus, the duration of the vacation will be 9 (or 8) days.

It is worth remembering that the dates are still approximate; the Ministry of Education may slightly shift the indicated dates. In addition, the right to final approval of vacation time belongs not to the ministry or even the municipal education department, but directly to the educational institution. That is, only the school principal can announce the start day of the holidays.

The decision on the start and end time of holidays in the new academic year will be made by each educational institution independently. The dates of the 2018-2019 school holidays in a particular educational institution depend on many factors:

  • training by trimesters,
  • quarters or modules;
  • weather;
  • climatic conditions of the area;
  • The Ministry of Education sets recommended vacation dates, but the final decision still remains with the leadership of educational institutions.

Vacation schedule 2018-2019 for students by trimester

The training schedule by trimester is quite simple - students in this system spend 5 weeks studying, after which the 6th week is a vacation. The result is the following school term dates for 2018-2019:

Autumn holidays 2018

Autumn holidays begin on Monday 29 October. And the children will go to school not on November 5, but on November 6, since the National Unity Day holiday falls on Sunday, and they will have a rest on Monday.

Winter holidays 2018

Winter holidays are recommended to start on December 28th and end on January 9th. Winter holidays are the longest. In northern regions, winter holidays may be extended due to low temperatures. Whether these days will be compensated by days off is up to each school to decide individually.

Spring break 2018

It is recommended to start spring break on March 25 and end on April 2. these holidays will be after the longest third quarter. But it often happens that the third quarter is when the peak of viral infections occurs. If in the middle of the quarter a quarantine lasting more than a week was declared, then the administration of the educational institution has the right to declare some weekends as school days in order to catch up with the program.

Summer holidays 2018

Mandatory pre-holiday training

Before leaving for the holidays, all children must listen to instructions on how to behave correctly during the holidays. Class teachers must explain to students what can be done and what cannot be done.

A separate topic should be devoted to traffic rules, since a large number of road accidents involving children occur during the holidays.

If students go on summer vacation, parents must inform where and with whom their children will be. Before the summer holidays, parents must also listen to the instructions and sign for it.

Winter is perhaps the most long-awaited period in the life of schoolchildren, after summer, of course. At this time of year, students expect not only holidays, but also the longest holidays compared to the spring and autumn holidays. Winter holidays coincide with the middle of the school year, when it is time to take a break from studying. In addition, this is the longest weekend for parents. This is a good reason for the whole family to get together to spend time together. New Year, Christmas, you can perfectly plan every day. As a rule, regardless of the teaching schedule of each school, winter holidays are spent the same way for everyone: two winter weeks.

Winter holidays at school are approved for the following dates:

In honor of the New Year, all schoolchildren are exempt from classes, regardless of whether they study in quarters or trimesters. Moreover, the New Year holidays, as a rule, “fit in” with the all-Russian weekend: in other words, schoolchildren rest almost simultaneously with adults, which gives parents an excellent opportunity to spend time with their children.

By the way, for first-graders who are just starting to get used to school life, additional holidays have been introduced - from February 18 to February 25, 2018 (8 days). Meanwhile, in some schools such additional rest is provided for the entire “beginning” - for students from grades 1 to 4.

During the upcoming holidays and vacations, schoolchildren will enjoy many interesting and varied events, starting from a fabulous program at the New Year's tree. But of course, at this time, not a single child can be kicked out of the street, where there is a lot of snow, where you can ride down the slide and play snowballs with your friends. The slightly frosty and sunny weather itself invites you to engage in active activities. Some may have skis, others may have skates.

The main advice to parents: take your child away from the TV and computer during these long holidays.

Winter holiday calendar 2017-2018

New Year holidays, as a rule, begin in the last week of December and end on the 10th of January. Schoolchildren go to school on Monday. Winter holidays in the 2017/2018 academic year will continue from December 25 to January 8. First-graders will have additional holidays in winter* – from 19 to 25 February

The established dates for the winter holidays are primarily typical for those schools that study in quarters. But there are schools that teach in trimesters. The main difference between such training is that all teaching time is divided not into four parts, as in quarterly training, but into three.

Each of the trimesters, in turn, is divided into two parts, after each of which the children have a vacation.

After its completion, schoolchildren begin their winter holidays, which will last from December 31 to January 10. The second part of the winter term begins on January 10 and ends on February 21. After its completion, schoolchildren will have a holiday from February 21 to 27. The dates of the main winter holidays are the same for those who study in quarters and for those who study in trimesters. This rule always remains for the winter holidays. The only difference is the availability of additional holidays for trimesters.

First-graders also have their own vacation schedule, which is slightly different from high school. Children, like everyone else, will have their main winter holidays from December 25 to January 8. But there are also additional ones. Those who study in quarters will go on additional holidays from February 19 to 25.

The timing of the additional holidays themselves, as well as the timing of postponing holidays in general, depend on many factors. First of all, it depends on the air temperature. For elementary grades, the maximum minus temperature is set at 25 degrees; for secondary schools, this temperature is minus 28 degrees. And finally, for high school students (10-11) this temperature is minus 30 degrees Celsius. In addition, the temperature required for conducting classes in classrooms has been determined. If it is below plus 18 degrees, then classes cannot be conducted. In winter, the morbidity threshold also increases much more often. At the same time, quarantine can be declared not only in a region, district or city, but also in a separate school if the epidemic threshold exceeds 25% of the total number of schoolchildren.

Winter holidays, which usually coincide with New Year's.

We have long been accustomed to the fact that days of compulsory rest in different educational institutions may fall on different dates. And of course, everyone knows that the reason for such discrepancies is training formats. When dividing the year into four unequal parts (quarters), a break follows immediately after the end of the quarter, and when dividing the year into trimesters, every four to five weeks.

However, the situation with winter holidays looks completely different - this period practically coincides in all educational institutions, regardless of the profile and format of study. The difference can be literally a couple of days - trimester schools can announce the start of the weekend a day or two later than “quarter” institutions. But the vacation always ends on the same day.

Winter holidays 2018-2019 in schools with quarterly instruction: December 26-27, 2018 – January 8, 2019 inclusive.

That is, the last lessons will be held on Tuesday 25.12. or Wednesday 26.12. School will begin again on Wednesday 01/09/2019.

The decision on the start and end time of holidays in the new academic year will be made by each educational institution independently. The dates of the 2018-2019 school holidays in a particular educational institution depend on many factors: training in trimesters, quarters or modules; weather; climatic conditions of the area; The Ministry of Education sets recommended vacation dates, but the final decision still remains with the leadership of educational institutions.

Date of winter holidays in the 2018-2019 academic year

The 2nd quarter is the shortest and goes by quickly. Children look forward to the winter holidays with trepidation, as they coincide with the New Year holidays. They will have to be patient and study until December 28-29. The issue is the postponement of holidays at the state level. Monday, December 31st, has been declared a day off; adults and children will work for it on Saturday, the 29th. Although it is unlikely that there will be lessons on the schedule that day. The holidays will last until 01/10/2019. But it is possible that a number of educational institutions will give students the opportunity not to remember their lessons until the Old New Year.

First day of the third quarter

Calculating the first day of school in 2019 may cause some difficulties. The long New Year and Christmas winter holidays, when both adults and children relax, usually last exactly ten days - the first ten days of January. But in 2019, the winter “vacation” will be somewhat shorter than usual. The reason is the Christmas holidays.

Christmas, although not included in the list of public holidays, is an official day off. That is, in relation to this date, the law on the transfer of holidays comes into force. But January 7 and 8 - Christmas days - fall on Monday and Tuesday. This means that no transfers, compensations or extensions of the usual vacation are expected. And the first working day in 2019 for everyone, including schoolchildren, will be Wednesday, January 9.

Surprise for first-graders

In order to reduce stress levels, an additional break was taken in the middle of the longest and most difficult quarter - the third. Rest, as a rule, occurs at the end of winter, when the New Year's fun has almost faded into memory, and the warm days of spring are still so far away. True, such an unexpected “vacation” is given only to first-graders, and all other students, both junior and middle level, will continue to study their lessons.
