I do not recommend wasting time and money on visiting the geyser and whale excursions. The geyser works very poorly (I was never able to really see anything), and paying 80 dollars for a six-hour excursion to see 1-2 whales (if you’re lucky) is a thankless task.

Contrary to popular belief, Australians practically do not eat kangaroo, claiming that it is food for pets. But in every store you can buy a steak or kangaroo fillet and try to cook it yourself, since in restaurants such a dish is very expensive!

You can't visit Australia without trying the famous fish delicacies. Barramundi, eels, green oysters, crayfish and salmon are quite inexpensive there, but their quality and taste always leave only the most positive emotions.

Australians love quick snacks, preferring their traditional meat pie (meat pie made according to a special recipe), sausage rall (a very unusual and tasty sausage in dough) and fish and chips (they call chips French fries).
