Nha Trang is considered the most popular resort city in Vietnam and is called its “beach capital”. located 30 km from the resort. The tourist influx season lasts almost all twelve months of the year; the most ideal time for a holiday is January-August. The fewest guests in Nha Trang are from October to December.

The resort is ready to offer travelers a lot of interesting things:

Every morning the coastal area is cleaned. There are showers, changing rooms, toilets, and medical aid stations.

Almost all beaches are municipal, so most often you don’t have to pay to enter them. Money will only be needed to pay for the rental of a sun lounger or umbrella.

The beaches on the islands are usually purchased by hotels. The Ana Mandara Beach Resort (five stars) and Sofitel hotel complexes have proven themselves well.

Many young people who love water sports and golf relax here. There are signs in Russian everywhere, and cafes offer menus in Russian.

The Mui Ne Peninsula is also famous for its surfing and kiting schools, of which there are more than twenty. They employ instructors who speak Russian. For an hour of surfing they charge about fifty dollars, for kitesurfing – seventy dollars.

You can relax at these resorts in any month. The main influx of tourists occurs from November to April. But the sea is calmer, on the contrary, from April to November.

Hotels are represented by bungalows, villas, and buildings of respectable hotels. Each offers clients its own beach, equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas. Prices for double rooms in hotels by the sea vary around thirty dollars. Victoria Resort (four stars) is considered a very good hotel.

As for the review of the beaches, it is as follows:

  1. Phan Thiet Central Beach is located right in the city. Suitable for those who are too lazy to travel far.
  2. Tien Tan (Phan Thiet, Ke Ga lighthouse area)- quiet place. The water brings a lot of debris and turbidity due to large waves. If the first one is regularly cleaned, then it is difficult to get rid of the turbidity. The entire infrastructure ends with the operation of hotels. There is practically no entertainment.

Top 7 - beautiful places in Vietnam

1) Beaches of Phu Quoc (Phu Quoc)

Phu Quoc Island is located in the southern part of Vietnam, rich in beaches and picturesque seascapes. The beaches of Fukuoka are clean beaches with white sand, there are not many tourists here, so here you can retire and feel like the sole owner of all this splendor. Only a small part of the island has equipped beaches; tourists, hotels, and cafes are concentrated on such beaches.

Long Beach

Another name for this beach is Duong Dong. Perhaps one of the largest beaches in Fukuoka, 5-7 km long. This beach is quite a busy place, it is equipped with sun loungers and is loved by tourists. The beach itself is clean and cozy - it is carefully monitored and cleaned regularly. This is where the main hotels and cafes of the island are concentrated.

How to get there: This beach cannot be missed due to the large number of hotels located close to the beach and sea.

Bai Sao (Sao Beach / Bai Sao)

This place is like a lost paradise. A clean beach with fine white sand, the sea enchanting with its turquoise color, palm trees desperately reaching out to the surface of the sea - give the beach its unique charm. It should be noted that you can find no more than 2 hotels nearby, so if you want to stay a couple of days in a secluded place, in your personal paradise, this place is perfect.

How to get there: Located in the northwest of Fukuoka. Many excursions include a visit to this secluded beach, so you can simply book a tour and be taken to Bai Sao (Sao Beach / Bai Sao). You can get there on your own by renting a motorbike.

Bai Zai Beach (Bãi Dài)

Bai Dai Beach or Bai Zai Beach, once considered one of Phu Quoc's secluded beaches, has recently become a popular destination for tourists. Infrastructure is being actively built here - hotels, cafes and various entertainment venues. The peculiarity of this beach is considered to be soft white sand, a clean and tidy beach and a wonderful landscape that captivates with its genuine beauty.

How to get there: getting to this place is quite problematic due to its remoteness (about an hour by moped).

2) Beaches of Nha Trang

Nha Trang is primarily considered a beach holiday; there are many hotels, cafes, restaurants, shops near the sea. The beaches are clean and equipped with everything a tourist needs. From November to mid-February, Nha Trang is not the best place for swimming, as strong winds raise quite impressive waves.

The beach extends 7 km along the city, covering almost the entire tourist area of the city. In general, the beach is clean and well-groomed, the sand is fine yellowish in color. In the daytime, when the sun is especially strong, the beach is deserted, but in the evening, somewhere from 16.00-20.00 pm, the beach fills with people and becomes a very busy place in the city.

Along the beach there are small sports grounds with exercise equipment, where people are actively involved in their health. People are chatting nicely on the benches. The children laugh and run around like crazy. Sometimes groups sit along the paved paths and have picnics.

At about 9-10 pm the beach becomes deserted again, you can come at this time and sit in solitude with your significant other and eat fruit, the beach at this time is illuminated by spotlights, so the beach looks unusual and at the same time safe.

How to get there: You can walk from any hotel in the tourist area.

Bai Dai

Another Nha Trang beach that deserves attention, its full name is Khu Du Lịch Bãi Dài. It is located on the site of the former Nha Trang military base, so the place is not yet filled with cafes and hotels, but sellers and small seafood cafes are slowly flocking here. Many people already know about this beach, so it is not as isolated as it might seem. The beach is not maintained, so in some areas of the beach you may stumble across trash. In general, the beach is cozy and comfortable, stretching for almost 15 km, 15 kilometers of white sand.

How to get there: by taxi or motorbike 20 km (15 min.) south of Nha Trang.

Zoklet Beach, Nha Trang (Doc Let)

It is also called Doklet Beach, the beach stretches 10 km along the sea. The place is quite developed and has everything a tourist needs - hotels, swimming pools, cafes, various shops, the beach is equipped, there are sun loungers and umbrellas. Zoklet is a picturesque place with fine white sand and palm trees along the shore. Due to the distance from the city, tourists prefer to stay on this beach for the whole day.

How to get there: 45 km north of Nha Trang, can be reached by taxi or motorbike.

3) Beaches of Mui Ne, Phan Thiet

Mui Ne and Phan Thiet often travel together due to their short distance from each other. Mui Ne is a tourist resort, most of which are Russian tourists. Along the resort stretches a long strip of sandy beach, conventionally divided into three beaches: Ham Tien East Beach, Mui Ne Central Beach, Pu Hai.

This place attracts fans of extreme water sports, surfers and kiters. The beach itself is quite large - about 5 km. The beaches themselves are clean, the only thing is that in some places of the beach there is construction going on, so be careful, under the sand in such places there are iron pins hidden, stepping on which can injure your feet. They try to remove them immediately, but sometimes they miss them.

We like this beach because it is not crowded, you can easily move a respectful distance away from everyone who also came to enjoy the paradise seascape of Mui Ne. You can often meet people jogging on the beach.

The only problem with the central beach is the way to get to the beach, as due to the abundance of hotels standing wall to wall, it is difficult to get to the beach. We walked through the territory of the first line hotels or through small alleys in the center of the resort. Here, of course, it is better to rent hotels near the sea, since they have direct access to the sea.

How to get there: Throughout the resort area of Mui Ne.

4) Beaches of Da Nang

A large number of beaches in Da Nang are located within the city or in its environs. The beach was not spoiled by tourists until recently; now the beaches of Da Nang are slowly gaining popularity.

Chinese Beach (or Bac My An)

China Beach is popular among tourists from all over the world; thanks to its soft, fine sand and developed infrastructure, the beach has captivated many. The beach is cleaned regularly, so the beach area is very clean. From September to December, when the waves begin to rise, many surfers flock to the beach; it is here that the international surfing championship has been held since 1992.

If you are not afraid of being stung by a red jellyfish, whose burns are quite painful, then come here in June; the rest of the time the beach is ideal for swimming.

How to get there: is located 7 km south of the city center.

5) Lang Co Beach in Hue

The beach stretches for 10 km. Despite the proximity to the road, the place is quite quiet. The beach is suitable for families with children, since the sea depth on the coast is only a meter. In general, the beach is not crowded, very clean, palm trees grow along the beach, so if you get tired of the annoying sun, you can sit in their shade.

How to get there: the beach stretches along the highway, separated by a small hill.

6) Beach in Ha Long Bay )

This place can be called one of the most stunning places in the world, Ha Long Bay itself was listed by UNESCO in 1994 as a natural world heritage site. Tourists are attracted primarily by the unusual landscape, bordering on something truly magical. This is the place that poses for advertising holidays in Vietnam on postcards, brochures and in various commercials. The beaches are covered with artificial sand, the water here is not transparent, but despite this, the place really looks like a paradise on Earth.

How to get there: from Hanoi by tourist bus (about 200,000 VND) for 3-4 hours, by regular bus from Hanoi from Long Bien, Gia Lam Station, My Dinh or Luong Yen bus stations to Halong city (about 50-60,000 VND) for 5-6 hours.

7) Cat Co and Cat Dua o Cat Ba

If you are attracted by crystal clear water, then this is the place for you, here the water is so clear that even at a depth of several meters you can see the bottom. Clean beaches with white soft sand cannot leave anyone indifferent. On weekends there are many tourists (Vietnamese and Chinese) on the beaches, and on weekdays you can enjoy peace and quiet.

Climate of Vietnamese beaches

Before choosing your route, it’s worth finding out what season is best to come to a particular resort. Otherwise, when you arrive, you will be very upset by what you see. During the rainy season, the sea here is dirty, the waves are big, and it rains heavily every day.

Some of the best beaches are located in the south of Vietnam. The good season starts from October and ends in February. At this time there is no rain here at all, every day is sunny and almost windless. But the rainy season from June to October is considered a natural disaster with rain and typhoons.

There are also very beautiful beaches in the north of the country. It’s best to visit them from May to August.

Almost any beach of interest can be reached from Ho Chi Minh City. Moreover, the largest beaches are located a couple of hours away by car or public transport. Therefore, if you decide to fly to Vietnam, then immediately take tickets to Ho Chi Minh City.

Now let's get acquainted with the best Vietnamese beaches.

Central city beach in Nha Trang

The beach stretches along the coast for 7 kilometers. But even despite its enormous size, during the season it is always crowded with vacationing tourists. It is worth noting that the warm period here does not coincide with the summer months, so you should be careful when you plan to fly to Nha Trang. Seasons are divided into dry and rainy. You only need to choose the dry season, since at this time there is no rain, it is warm and the water is not so cloudy. The central beach is located in the heart of Nha Trang and is rightfully considered the best. You can get here from absolutely anywhere in the city by public transport or by car. Since this is the main city beach, entry is free for everyone. But, as elsewhere, you will have to pay extra to rent sun loungers and umbrellas. Almost its entire territory belongs to the city authorities. But there are also small fenced-off beaches that are considered the property of hotels.

The beach infrastructure is very well developed. Near the entrance there are changing rooms, showers, a medical center, and lifeguards. In addition, the beach is famous for its numerous entertainments. These include water skiing, snorkeling, jet skis, surfing, active sports areas, boat trips, fishing and much more. If you came here just to sunbathe, then there are a lot of massage therapists on the beach who will give you a delicious massage for a small fee.

In addition to entertainment attractions, there are cafes and restaurants along the entire length of the beach. There we can eat delicious food and drink refreshing drinks. If you’re too lazy to go somewhere, you can stay on a sun lounger and street vendors will bring you whatever you want. However, you should take food from them with caution, as you can get poisoned. Be that as it may, if you want to try Vietnamese cuisine, be sure to buy exotic fruits, fish, delicious banana buns and other snacks that will definitely not leave anyone indifferent.

The city beach, like the others, is strewn with sand. The sand here is white, fine and consists of small particles of shells of sea inhabitants, which are considered a kind of filter for sea water. They clean here once a day. The descent to the sea is gentle, and the bottom is flat and sandy. You will not encounter strong waves on the beach, since it is located in the very center of Nha Trang Bay. So tourists with children will especially enjoy a holiday on the central beach.

It's not difficult to get to. The main landmark is Tran Phu Street. Any available transport departs from here. It is best to get there by your own car, which can be left in the parking lot near the beach.

Mui Ne Central Beach

This is the most favorite place among tourists in Mui Ne. The beach is also called Rang. Over almost seven kilometers of the coastal zone there are many hotels, inns, restaurants, bars, maritime transport schools, and so on. The beach is famous for its large number of surfers and kiters. If you want to stay in a cheap hotel, then you should cross the road. The central beach is a place where it is always noisy and where you can find inexpensive accommodation. For those who like a calm, quiet holiday, Mui Ne Beach is not suitable.

The main beach itself is represented by a strip of yellow and white sand. The bottom is flat, the descent is not very steep. True, the water here is quite muddy, in fact, like on other beaches of the resort. There are sun loungers and a few activities by the water. Although if you look at the entire length of the beach, you get the feeling that there is no entertainment here at all, since they are located at a great distance from each other.

The entire coastal area is closely built up with hotels. That is why, when you are staying at a hotel, it is very difficult to find access to the beach. Numerous caterers also sometimes cause great discomfort. But if this doesn’t bother you too much, and you have a desire, then you can learn this sport at a special school located here.

Long Beach

The beach is located in the west of Phu Quoc island. It is so long that it stretches from the airport itself to the southernmost point of the island. The sand on the shore is a beautiful yellowish shade, quite fine, so your foot falls completely inside. It is much easier to walk on wet sand. The water is cloudy and has a beautiful turquoise color. The bottom is straight, so-called steps are felt when going deeper, and it is also clean. Sometimes there may be groups of stones, but this is not critical. Only the northern part of the coast is occupied by hotels, but today the remaining beach is being actively developed by residential complexes and hotels. But, despite the huge area, Long Beach is still little developed and there are not many tourists yet. All infrastructure is concentrated mainly near hotels. A few years ago, the beach was popular only with Americans and some Europeans. Now, the Russians also love him. In the northern part it ends in a stone lagoon. In the same place, a river flows into the sea, behind which there is another beach. Oddly enough, the proximity to the airport does not interfere with your vacation at all. The noise is practically inaudible, although sometimes planes fly close over the water. All infrastructure such as bars and restaurants is also located in the most populated part in the north. As you move south it becomes less and less frequent and finally disappears completely. Here on the shore you can purchase numerous excursions, diving tours, fishing and much more. Sea sports on the beach are not developed.

Long Beach is quite beautiful; in the evenings you can watch unimaginable sunsets here. So photographers on the shore will really enjoy it. The Vietnamese authorities have been planning to create a huge recreation park on the territory of Long Beach for several years. In the meantime, it’s quiet and peaceful here. The partygoers obviously won't like it.

Bai Wong Beach

The beach is located on the western shore of Phu Quoc, near the town of Duong Dong. Today, this place is developing rapidly, becoming the largest and very famous place among tourists. Due to its location, you can spend leisure time on the beach even during the rainy season, without fear of natural disasters. To get to Bai Wong you will have to spend only nine dollars. Water communication has recently been established between the main part of Vietnam and the island part, which has an economic impact on the development of a completely isolated beach. Despite the proximity to the city of Duong Dong, you won’t be able to get to the island directly; you’ll have to take a detour. If you drive from the north side, you will come across the small fishing village of Ham Nin.
