Upon arrival, we were accommodated in the luxurious JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa 5* hotel. A huge territory, a riot of greenery and of course the Andaman Sea, it is beautiful. The hotel is located on Mai Khao beach. Golden crumbly sand, azure sea - this is a real tropical paradise!
The island is divided into beaches, so Mai Khao is a place for a respectable holiday, complete relaxation and unity with nature, away from the bustle. It is also suitable for families with children and the arrival airport is not far away.
The busiest place on the island is Patong beach, a paradise for shopping lovers and for young people who like to party all night long. The prices are pleasantly surprising, everything is very, very cheap.
Having walked around Patong to our heart's content, having bought everything we needed and not so much, by the evening we were so tired that we no longer wanted to think about nightly entertainment. For a holiday with children, we still recommend going to the islands, where there are clean beaches with a gentle entrance to the sea, large hotels, a lot of greenery and a calmer atmosphere.
