Class strongholds in the Legion. Guide to class strongholds. How to get to a class stronghold Where is the stronghold of mages

Companions not only help complete missions, but also reveal some history in the fight against the Legion. So, you can meet key lore personalities, for example, Rehgar for shamans or Manastorm for magicians. The main goal of companions (champions) is to help in various missions of the class stronghold, which provide experience, artifact power, gold, and sometimes gear. A certain number of missions are also required to complete a class campaign or obtain a mount, such as a fox. Each class has access to eight followers in the Legion stronghold, but only five champions can be active. The rest will be marked “awaiting instructions.” You can activate an ally at any time, but it will cost 250 gold. Leveling up companions in the Legion: common, rare, epic The starting level of a champion is determined in which company (chapter) of the stronghold it was received, but the starting quality will always be normal. That is, the quality does not depend on the hero’s level: 100, 13, 19 or 110. The maximum level is 110. To improve the quality of a follower, you need to complete missions. Experience chart for followers regardless of class:

XP required:

Epic

When a champion has reached the maximum level and quality, no experience is awarded to him.

Legion Companion Item Levels

Once a follower has reached level 110, he receives item level 760, which can be upgraded to complete more difficult tasks. The maximum item level is 850. Increasing the quality of equipment requires the following improvements:

  • Heavy armor set: +5 position level
  • Reinforced armor set: +10 position level
  • Impenetrable armor set: +15 position level

This means that items will always be multiples of the number, and followers cannot have, for example, 799 ilvl. You can obtain elements in two ways: from various stronghold missions, using the third level of stronghold improvement. As for the second method, it can be obtained by Druids, Monks and Shamans. Other classes simply place orders to complete champion weapons. Each order takes 12 hours and costs 50 units of resources. Guide to companions in a class stronghold: low level and combat Sometimes, for a 100% win rate in missions, you can add low-level companions, but if you send all low-level champions on a mission, the chances of winning will be much lower . It is also worth considering that such associates do not receive full experience. If the difference is too great, then it will simply become useless: it does not contribute to success.

Equipment of comrades in the Legion

When champions reach level 110 or another quality, they unlock equipment slots that can be used as upgrades. The first slot is unlocked when the follower reaches Rare quality, the second - Epic. You can get equipment:

  • Class Stronghold Missions
  • Local quests
  • Third level of the stronghold
  • Emissary

Where are the class strongholds?

Each stronghold is located in a place that is significant and historical for a particular class within the history of the world. Here is a list of the locations of all class strongholds:

    Death Knight: Acherus, the Black Stronghold, which in Legion moved to the Broken Isles.

    Demon Hunter:"Fel Hammer" in Mardrum.

    Druid: Grove of Dreams, Val'sharah.

    Shaman: Heart of Azeroth above the Maelstrom.

    Witch: The Grim Scar Rift in one of the Legion worlds.

    Warrior: Sky Citadel in Stormheim.

Class Halls in Legion are separate zones for each class, where players can improve their artifact and develop the Stronghold itself by completing tasks associated with it.

How to get into a class stronghold

Most classes can get to their stronghold through portals located in different parts of Dalaran. Moreover, for each class there is a separate portal, which cannot be used by characters of another class:

Where are the portals located:

  • For priests and paladins: in the Alliance / Horde hall;
  • For shamans: on the airfield;
  • The Demon Hunters use Slide to reach one of the islands near Dalaran;
  • Rogues can enter their stronghold through secret passages that exist in some buildings in Dalaran;
  • Warlocks: portal near Cloaca;
  • Hunters: through a special griffin flight network;
  • Death knights, druids, monks and magicians can create portals themselves.

Strongholds of each class

  • Bandits - Hall of Shadows
  • Paladins - Sanctuary of Light
  • Warlocks - Dreadscar Rift
  • Warriors - Sky Fortress
  • Death Knights - Acherus
  • Demon Hunters - Corrupted Hammer
  • Druids - Grove of Dreams
  • Hunters - Sure Shot Guardhouse
  • Magi - Hall of Defenders
  • Monks - Temple of Five Dawns
  • Shamans - Maelstrom
  • Priests - Temple of Light

Each class stronghold will have some unique features.

For example:

  • Rogues have an additional NPC to access the Black Market Auction.
  • Druids in the stronghold have portals to the main natural locations.
  • Warriors can duel in a special arena.

What to do in a class stronghold

List of things to do in the Legion:

  1. Change the appearance of an artifact. You can add Artifact Power and select talents anywhere in the game world, but you can only change your appearance in a class stronghold.
  2. Change the choice of artifact talents.
  3. Turn in books that are needed to increase the knowledge points of the artifact.
  4. Complete stronghold missions. There are far fewer missions than there were in the garrison of Draenor.
  5. Turn in assignments related to your class and learn about history.
  6. Buy sets of class stronghold armor from the quartermaster (about them below), weapons for transmogrification, tokens for upgrading equipment and books that allow you to study additional cosmetic effects.
  7. Receive a reward for completing a raid on Mythic difficulty.
  8. Chat with other players of your class - both factions!

Class Hall Armor Sets

Each class has unique 8-piece armor sets that can only be purchased at the class stronghold. These sets are similar in appearance to the sets for completing the Mists of Pandaria challenge mode, but there are slight changes.

Each part of the kit is obtained in a different way:

  • Helmet - for a quest in a class stronghold
  • Bracers - for recruiting 6 followers for a class hall
  • Gloves - required Respect with the Nightfallen faction
  • Pants - Requires Revered with three Broken Isles factions
  • Feet - you need to kill the last boss in all Legion dungeons
  • Breast - for completing a campaign in a class stronghold
  • Belt - Earn 50,000 Artifact Power points
  • Shoulders - Exalted with Nightfallen faction

At the same time, different parts of the set have different levels of items. To increase the level of an item, you need to buy a token, which has certain requirements:

  • Upgrade to level 810 - Respect with Nightfallen;
  • Upgrade to level 825 - required to kill the last boss in all Legion dungeons (on any difficulty);
  • Upgrade to level 840 - Exalted with Nightfallen.

Additionally

The content in the Legion class hall is such that it encourages players to leave the hall more often in the game world (unlike the garrisons of Draenor).

Class Quests

As you level up your character in the stronghold, class quests open up. They recount important events and shed light on the history and fate of the class in the Legion.

Missions in the class stronghold

Missions appear less frequently in a stronghold than they did in garrisons. In addition, new missions encourage players to venture out of the stronghold and into the game world.

For example, the reward for completing a mission in a dungeon is not an item, but a quest item. To receive a reward for it, you need to go to the dungeon yourself and complete the quest.

Other

There is something like a “technological development tree” for a class stronghold: to improve and upgrade the stronghold, you need to spend . This will give certain improvements to the character and allies, and will also open up additional opportunities for customizing the artifact.

I would like to hear your opinion about class strongholds in the Legion? How are they better or worse than the garrisons of Draenor?

Class Halls in Legion are special areas unique to each class where you can work with your artifact, complete quests, and communicate with other members of your class.

Access to Class Hall

To get to their Class Hall, most classes will use portals in Dalaran. These portals, as well as the NPCs associated with them, are scattered throughout the city:

  • Death Knights, Druids, Mages and Monks have their own teleports: Death Gate, Dreamwalker, Teleportation: Bulwark of the Guardian, Spiritual Journey.
  • Demon Hunters: Use Gliding to get to a small island near Dalaran, there you will find a portal. If your planning is interrupted, the gargoyle will take you to safety.
  • Hunters: A special network of air routes accessible only to them. Talk to Talua to go to Strelka's Shelter.
  • Paladins: Fly to Light's Hope Chapel or use the teleport in your faction's quarter.
  • Priests: Portal in your faction's quarter.
  • Bandits: Go through secret doors that will only open to you. The doors are in the stores - “Great Products” (52 69), “A Hundred More” (53 33), “Tanks Are Our Everything” (45 29).
  • Shamans: portal on the Kras Platform.
  • Warlocks: portal on the way to the Cloaca.
  • Warriors: In each location there is a Valkyr, near which you can use Jump to the Sky Citadel to be transported to the Stronghold.

Walk through the strongholds

Each Stronghold has some unique features. Here are some of them:

  • Druids gain access to a set of portals to certain natural locations. The Grove of Dreams also became home to two pets - Forester and Nightmare Lasher.
  • The robbers gain access to the Black Market representative. In the storage you will also find a toy - Suspicious Box.
  • Shamans can play the totem version of the game "Light"s Out" (you can google the game if the name doesn't tell you anything). For winning you will receive a Lava Fountain. Also next door to you lives a pet - Snowfang.
  • Warriors can fight each other in a special Arena. The winner's reward will be a Stormforged Vrykul Horn.
  • Demon Hunters and Warlocks can get a pet in their strongholds - Hateful Eye.

Classes in the Class Stronghold

Why come to your Class strongholds at all? Here are a few things you can do there:

  • Changing the appearance of your Artifact. You can add artifact power and study the talents of your weapon anywhere in the world, but you can change its appearance only in the Stronghold.
  • Roll back learned talents. If you need to change the development path of your Artifact, you need to return to your Stronghold.
  • Start research with NPCs to improve your Artifact Knowledge.
  • Complete Class Stronghold missions. These missions are not as frequent as the Garrison missions on Draenor. But the rewards for these missions are worth completing. For example, as a reward for Exploration in the Dark Heart Thicket, you will receive the quest item Vial of Poisonous Blood, which in turn sends you to the dungeon. Champions and Squads can also be rewarded. Find more information in the Legion Class Hall Mission Guide.
  • Complete special class quests to learn more about your class's lore. With their help, you can shed light on interesting features of your class. Wowhead did some of these on Alpha Legion, but beware of spoilers: Bringer of the Light , Paladin Meeting of the Silver Hand , Shaman Return of the Windlord , Warlock Searching the Archives.
  • If you complete a Mythic+ Keystone Dungeon within the time limit, you will receive a reward for it next week. You can find it in a chest in your Stronghold.
  • Visit the Quartermaster to purchase the Bulwark armor set, armor upgrades, and some cosmetic items.
  • In Class Halls you can communicate with other representatives of your class both factions.
  • You can find more information in the database itself: , Order Advancements and .

Class Hall Armor Sets

You can get acquainted with the appearance of all armor sets in A little about this wonderful stronghold.

The Keep of the Guardian is a secret magical refuge located on the upper floors of the Violet Citadel of Dalaran. Once upon a time, members of the Council of Tirisfal gathered here and kept their secrets. Since the Council ceased to exist during the time when Medivh was Guardian of Tirisfal, the Stronghold was abandoned and remained in this state for several decades.

When the Burning Legion began a new invasion of Azeroth, the nathrezim Catra'natir escaped from the body of Meryl the Felstorm, intending to capture the Guardian's Crucible. Meryl, teaming up with the famous magician and spirit Alodi, was able to expel the nathrezim and decided to take the Crucible to a safer place, which became the Stronghold Guardian. When they were transported here along with the Crucible, Alodi stated that it pained him to see the decay of the shelter.

Meryl replied that the Stronghold could still be useful, since the enchanted amulets had not stopped functioning. The Fel Storm revived the order of the Guardians of Tirisfal, who guarded the Council during the Guardian's absence. Now the order had to not only fight the Burning Legion, but also eliminate a more specific threat - Catra'Natir, who learned many of the secrets of the sorcerers during his captivity in the body of Meryl.

Relative order was quickly restored to the Stronghold, and through the portals opened by the Great Ahalaimahalai, spellcasters from all over Azeroth arrived and settled in the vacant halls. The heart of the Stronghold was the library, in the center of which the Guardian's Crucible was installed. The new leader of the order used it to give his artifacts new powers. On the shelves of the library there are many rare enchanted books, some of which are not shy about flying. The position of librarian was taken by old Philmuff, who previously served as the archivist of the Violet Citadel. Although he does his job well, he does not seem to realize that he died long ago and was reborn as an undead.

Despite the existence of a specific library, the entire Keep of the Guardian is filled with literature that mages study in search of knowledge. There are no less ancient artifacts here, still filled with energy, and mysterious devices, the purpose of which is not easy to guess. Globes, beakers, alembics, shimmering crystals, amazing intercoms - it’s impossible to list everything. Along the walls there are pots with strange purple soil in which beautiful flowers grow, sparkling with sparkles of magic.

Sorcerers do not hesitate to use witchcraft to solve all problems. Living brooms clean the halls. For lighting, metal braziers filled with bright arcane flames are used. The passages are guarded by magical intercessors woven from mana. Instead of the usual tactical map, there is a projection hanging right in the air that depicts everything you need. The role of training mannequins is performed by rotating magical devices consisting of crystals. The walls of the Keep of the Guardian are decorated with the symbols of the Kirin Tor and the Council of Tirisfal, as well as special runes. They also display portraits of great mages or places and events of interest to the Kirin Tor.
