Where in Fallout 4 Diamond City. Colony - home in Diamond City Need an update? Description of Diamond City buildings

Diamond City in Fallout 4 is the largest and safest settlement. The city was founded on the stands of the Fenway Park baseball stadium, and received its name because of the stadium's nickname, “the great green gem,” which in turn was derived from the color of everything inside it.

It accommodates a huge number of inhabitants, lighting, a pond, vegetable gardens, bars and many merchants. Here you can also find a church, a school, the Valentine Detective Agency and several bars.

The city was founded here back in 2130 due to maximum security thanks to high walls and began to gradually grow, turning into what the player can see at the time of the game, that is, 2282. Is the complete opposite.

Diamond City Blues mission in Fallout 4: complete guide to completing the quest with video.
This guide will help you complete a rather confusing side quest. You will learn about all possible options for the development of events and the ending of the task.

Tango three

Go to Diamond City and go up. Head to a place called Colonial Taphouse. Inside you will hear an argument between a husband (Paul Pembroke) and wife (Darcy Pembroke). Paul will also fight Henry Cook, a bartender. Talk to Darcy and Henry. Go outside and chat with Paul. He will ask you to scare Henry. You can either agree to help him or refuse.

If you agree to help, Cook will kill Paul before you arrive. It's best to go alone. Convince Paul of this and rise on your own. Talk to Cook. You can win a fight or use charisma and resolve the issue peacefully.

If the conversation ends peacefully, Cook will tell you about the deal he was involved in. If you kill Cook, you can search his body and still learn about the deal.

Deal

The deal was made with a bandit named Nelson Latimer. You must go to his hideout. Go north to the river west of the Back Street ramp. Here you will find Nelson and his men. No matter what you do, the meeting will end in a shootout. Talk to the only survivor of the massacre, who is Nelson's supplier named Trish. You can either leave her alive, or promise her, but then still kill her.

In any case, you will be able to obtain information about the location of the laboratory. It's usually best to arrange to go there with Trish, since she has the password to the lab terminal. If Cook came with you, he will kill Trish when she tries to escape. So be prepared for this. You'll hear about Marowski.

If Paul is still involved in all this, then he will want you to share the spoils with him. A high level of charisma will allow you to achieve a 70/30 percent split in your favor. Unfortunately, without killing Paul, it is impossible to take all the caps for yourself. If Paul is still in quarantine, but you spoke with Cook alone and Paul was never present with you, you can inform him of Cook's fate and say goodbye, keeping all the loot for yourself.

Regardless, you will have to travel to Boston to find the Quatrefoil Fish Factory. There will be a huge concentration of ghouls here, so be on your guard. Instead of going into the factory, go up to the upper walkway and climb onto the roof. There is a terminal on the wall where you need to enter the password you received from Trish. Use it to get inside the laboratory. You will encounter Marowski's men who will need to be killed.

After the quest. Latimer's position

Eventually, you will be able to kill either Marowski or Paul, or complete the quest. You need to wait 24 hours after you kill Nelson. Then his father Malcolm will know what happened. Talk to him - the man in sunglasses is near the very first location. There will be several options in the conversation.

You can blame Marowski for the death of your son, after which you will be tasked with killing the bandit.

You can blame Paul Pembroke for the death of your son (if he is still alive) and agree to kill him.

If the conversation ends in nothing, then Latimer will send thugs who will have to kill you. This option may cause the entire Diamond City to turn against you, so be careful.

Finish the conversation with Malcolm, after which you can either kill him or let him go. It is best to end the negotiations diplomatically and go to Marovsky, thereby maintaining peace in Diamond City.

After the quest. Collette's position

If Henry Cook was killed during the quest, then his daughter named Collette will appear in Dogout. This will happen approximately a week after the completion of the task. You can chat with her. And again there will be several dialogue options.

Confess to killing Cook (if you did), then resolve the issue diplomatically or kill her too.

Tell her that Cook has died or disappeared. She will either agree with this story, or suspect you, or even try to kill you.

Tell her you don't know anything. He will either believe you or suspect you, but he still won’t fight.
If Paul Pembroke is alive, he will talk to you if Collette doesn't leave. You can calm him down and agree that Paul can leave and you can kill Collette, or you can let Paul do it himself.

If you let Collette live another week, you can meet her again in the same place.

If you shared with Paul during the attack on the laboratory, he will accuse you of killing Cook in a conversation with Collette. If she had suspicions about you, she would start a fight.

Here you can either kill her or confess everything. If Paul accuses you, you can do the same towards him. After this she will leave the city. If she leaves town suspecting you of murder, you may run into her again in the future.

If she leaves suspecting Paul, you can later learn from Darcy that her husband was killed.

After the quest. Darcy's position

After completing three days after the quest, you can meet Darcy at the Diamond City Market. She will try to find out what happened. You can tell her the truth, avoid answering, or show negative emotions, or agree to help her find out what happened to Cook and Paul. Of course, you can simply say that you don’t know anything.

If you know what happened to Paul, you can put all the blame on Cook. You can also find Paul's body in the city and tell Darcy about it.
If you were useful to her, then after one week she will give you something. You can talk to Marowski, Cook, or Latimer about the photo you obtained. Either you can kill Latimer and Cook, or talk to Marowski.

Your choice determines who will survive.

After the quest. Marowski's position

If you let Trish or Nelson leave, Marowski will contact you within 24 hours. He wants you to meet him at the Rexford Hotel in Goodnaigbore. You can ignore his request, but as a result of this, Marowski's bandits will constantly pursue you.

Meet with Marowski as he requests. He will demand that you pay 2000 caps for the damage caused. You can convince him that the fee should be reduced to 1000 caps. After which you can either pay the compensation amount, or ask for a week to collect this money, or show Marovsky a photograph that you could have received from Darcy.

This mod adds a beautiful, classic house to the game near the entrance gate to Diamond City. It was restored by the city's citizens after the war.

The apartment is divided into two floors. On the first floor there is a living room, and on the second floor there are storage rooms, workbenches and a bathroom. The apartment contains many containers, a terminal and a surgical mirror for changing your appearance.

Also, you can go out to a small platform on the roof, which an elevator will help you get up to.

The apartment has a cycle of day and night, as well as weather conditions. This means that if there is radiation rain outside, you will see flashes in the windows.

Main base in Diamond City Fallout 4 will be an excellent place to take a break between your travels, as well as modify weapons and stock up on necessary goods from merchants. This location is also good for those who don’t want to bother with their own settlement. This convenience is ensured by the fact that this city is the safest settlement in the Wasteland. It is located inside the former Fenway Park stadium and is well protected on all sides.

Where to begin

In order to get your Home Base, you will first need to buy a house in Diamond City. The secretary of the local mayor named Geneva will help with this, and this pleasure costs 2000 caps. After making a valuable purchase, the key to your own house will appear in your inventory, you can enter it and begin improving your home.

Home improvement

Initially, your home looks more like a junkyard than the home of a self-respecting adventurer. Garbage, broken furniture and other rubbish are strewn everywhere. But this situation can be easily corrected. You have two floors at your disposal, as well as a roof which can be accessed through a special hatch and the interior of all rooms of the house can be changed to your liking. To do this, you just need to go into construction mode, buy furniture, decorations, arrange lighting fixtures and even workbenches. The interface is no different from the one used when building a settlement.

Features of the Main Base

Although the Main Base is somewhat similar to ordinary settlements in the game, it still has some of its own features:

  • It is impossible to establish trade routes between the Main Base and other settlements, so collecting and storing building materials here would not be a good idea.
  • You can teleport to the Main Base using fast travel, which makes it a very convenient place. You can also leave this location by using fast travel.
  • You will not be able to send your inactive companions here. However, you cannot send them to other settlements either.

Residents of Diamond City, despite the chaos reigning around them, know how to have fun and even celebrate some holidays. If you come to the city on Christmas (December 25) or Halloween (October 31), the streets will be decorated with festive garlands and posters, and some residents will have additional dialogue. The Pip-Boy will always help you find out what date it is.

In order to begin the quest “The Pearl of the Commonwealth”, you will first have to meet Preston Garvey, a Minuteman of the Commonwealth. Start the quest “Call of Freedom”, it will be activated as soon as you approach the Museum of Freedom in Concourt, where the previous quest “Time is Running Out” was completed. Help Preston Garvey and his people, clear the territory of Concord from enemies. When the job is completed, Mother Murphy, one of Harvey's people, will tell you that she feels that your son is still alive, and will suggest starting his search from the largest settlement in the area - Diamond City.

Get to Diamond City

The journey to get there will be very long, as you may meet anyone along the way! Raiders, super mutants, angry wild animals and God knows who else. Be careful! But on the other hand, such a long journey through the Wasteland will allow you to get acquainted with the new world and its inhabitants.

As you cross the Broken Boston Bridge, look for signs pointing towards Diamond City.

At the entrance you will encounter a reporter named Piper. She will help you get inside the closed city by deceiving the guard.

Get information about Sean

At the entrance, you will witness a small squabble between the mayor of the city, McDonagh and Piper.

After talking with him, you will find out his thoughts about Piper. By the way, in the future she may become your companion. Full list of companions.

Charisma

Do you want to feel the power? Talk to the mayor about his situation with Piper, and at the same time test your charisma skills. Suddenly you learn something interesting. And in general, this skill will be useful to you with other residents of the city.

Then head to the Diamond City Market, where you'll find people to talk to and ask around.

Who can help you in this busy market? Most people are quite friendly. You can ask the following people to help you figure out what to do next:

  • Denny Sullivan, guard at the entrance to the city.
  • Pastor Clements at Church of All Faiths.
  • Nat, Piper's younger sister, who sells the Social Events newspaper.
  • Piper will only help you after you give her an interview.
  • Moe Cronin, Flyboy bit salesman extraordinaire.
  • John, hairdresser.
  • Arturo Rodriguez, arms dealer.

Some of them will advise you to contact the detective agency Nick Valentine, located right there in Diamond City.

Clue

It's good to have a choice! If you don't mind the hostile residents of downtown Boston, then before you go to Diamond City, first check out a place called Good Neighbor. There, in the House of Memories, try talking to Irma. She can point you in the right direction after you sit in the memory capsule for a few minutes.

Get to Valentine's Detective Agency

Visit Valentine's Agency. It seems tough detective Nick Valentine has gone missing. Ellie Perkins hopes you can help find him.

Charisma

Try charming Ellie Perkins and maybe she'll let you shake her down for saving her boss.

Clue

On the table in the corner of the room you will find an issue of RobCo - Fun magazine with a holotape of the game.

Easter egg

Going deeper into the agency, you will find one very interesting secret case of Nick Valentine about the Mysterious Stranger, who has been appearing throughout the former United States for many years. This is a reference to past Fallout installments, in which a mysterious stranger also appeared. In Fallout 4, he is also waiting for us - the Mysterious Stranger perk will allow you to take a look at him. Who knows, maybe we'll learn a little more about him?

Go find Nick. Or stick around and have some fun in Diamond City. For example:

  • Talk to Mo Cronin in the Flyswatters and complete a couple of tasks for him for caps, of course.
  • Go shopping and purchase some impressive weapons and equipment from Arturo, for example. He has a couple of unique legendary weapons: Big Boy and Faithful Friend.
