European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships Budapest. The European Artistic Gymnastics Championships took place in Romania. Gymnasts competed only in individual competitions - in the all-around and on individual apparatus.

The Russian rhythmic gymnastics team defended its title as the best on the continent in the team all-around at the European Championships in the Hungarian capital Budapest. The main contribution to this victory was made by participants in personal exercises among adults Alexandra Soldatova, sisters Dina and Arina Averina.

The final result of our team is 182.175 points. In second place was the Belarusian team (171.450), bronze medals went to the “artists” from Bulgaria (170.300).

At the beginning of the new Olympic cycle, our team competes without its long-term leaders. 13-time world champion, silver medalist of the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) Yana Kudryavtseva notified the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) at the end of last year about her decision to leave the sport. The consequences of a broken leg were too unpleasant. Rio champion in individual all-around Margarita Mamun has not officially made such statements; now she has taken a break from her career, is recovering from a back injury, and is preparing for changes in her personal life. One way or another, now the role of leader of the national team has passed to 18-year-old Alexandra Soldatova, who, before traveling to Budapest at the most important international competitions, received gold awards only in team tournaments. She was the world champion in Izmir 2014 and Stuttgart 2015, and the winner of the European Championship in Minsk 2015.

Now, according to the tournament regulations, the results of two participants from each team in individual exercises (ball, clubs, ribbon, hoop) were added to the team standings, plus the points received by juniors in group exercises with clubs were added.

Soldatova and Dina Averina performed in three exercises, and the second of the Averin sisters, Arina, performed in two. Soldatova made the maximum contribution to the total - 56.225 points (18.600 for the hoop; 18.650 for the ball and 18.975 for the ribbon). Dina Averina showed the highest result among all participants in exercises with clubs, slightly ahead of her twin sister Arina (19,325 points versus 19,000).

Our youth team performed in group exercises with clubs as follows: Olga Sadomskaya, Kristina Telyatnikova, Daria Perevozchikova, Ksenia Markova, Elizaveta Bogatskova and Diana Menzhinskaya.

The head coach of the Russian national team, Irina Viner, has already called the result shown by our updated team outstanding. Wiener is pleased, first of all, with the fact that the change of generation in the national team is traditionally almost painless; the former leaders are replaced by new primas, raised by the legendary mentor.

Yesterday, at the end of the championship, at a tournament in Budapest, personal awards were awarded in performances with individual objects. Dina Averina performed best with hoop and ribbon, Arina Averina excelled in exercises with ball and clubs. Soldatova has two silver medals (a hoop and a ball). So it’s still difficult to say which of our three beauties is currently the leader of the team.

As a result, at the championship that ended, all six gold medals went to the Russians. Plus three more "silver". This is an unconditional victory in the overall standings. On the second line in the final table of ranks by country is Bulgaria (0 + 1 + 2), in third position is Belarus (0 + 1 + 1).

The European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, held in 2017 in a new format, ended with the unconditional victory of the Russian team, which won six gold medals.

On all counts

Since 2017, the European Championships have been held in a new format, one of the main features of which is the determination of the winner in the team championship. And if previously the sum of points was determined based on the results of the singles’ performances, then from this season the marks received in qualifications in individual events were added to the results in group exercises.

“The team competitions were held according to a new format. And very correctly, by the way. I would advise that the competitions be determined in exactly the same way by the international federation, and not just the European one. Based on the results of the group exercise and individual gymnasts. This is truly a real team result,” noted head of the All-Russian Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics (VFHG) Irina Viner-Usmanova.

According to the plans of the leadership of the European Gymnastics Union (UEG), these changes were supposed to intensify the fight for team gold, but giving up the leading positions was not part of the plans of the Russian team. The Russians, consisting of Alexandra Soldatova, Dina and Arina Averin, as well as the junior team, not only won gold in group exercises, but defeated their rivals in all respects: 182.175 points against 171.450 for Belarus and 170.300 for the Bulgarians.

“As for priorities for this tournament, everything is important, there are no unimportant medals,” Soldatova noted. “Everything is very important. And every day we must show our maximum. That is what we always work on.”

The decisive day of the competition began with the finals in group exercises and the Russian group exercises did not disappoint again, scoring 16.950 points and adding a second gold to the team. According to experts, on the decisive day the gymnasts performed almost flawlessly, but the athletes themselves did not agree with this statement.

“This victory is very pleasant for us, we are incredibly happy and grateful to our coaches, Irina Aleksandrovna (Viner-Usmanova) for the preparation and in general for everything they did for us,” Ksenia Markova told reporters. “Today we made the program better than in qualifications. Compared to yesterday’s first place, all the medals are important. And these two golds were the most valuable in my career. There were mistakes today, but overall everything was good, but the support of the fans helped a lot.”

In certain events, Russians achieved maximum representation in all four finals. In the hoop exercises, Dina Averina managed to correct the shortcomings made in the qualifications, which allowed the Russian not only to take gold, but also to beat the leader of the qualifying competitions and her compatriot Soldatova, who won the silver medal. At the same time, Dina also won gold in exercises with a ribbon.

“When I performed with hoop, I realized that I had done better than on the first day, I tried to correct my mistakes. But when I saw on the scoreboard that I was first, with a score of 18.2, I was, frankly, shocked. Almost I burst into tears. And with the ribbon, I didn’t expect that I would be the first. I even asked if it was true,” admitted Dina Averina.

Benefit performance of the Averin sisters

The final day turned out to be a benefit performance for the Averin sisters, which was also noted by Viner-Usmanova - two of the above-mentioned golds for Dina, and the same for Arina, who won the exercises with the ball and clubs.

“I think today I did everything that depended on me, everything I could,” said Arina Averina. “The exercises worked out much better than in the first two days. It was already calmer, I’m already used to the hall, I’m used to such a good audience “In Baku (at the World Cup) I got injured, we immediately removed the elements that were painful to do on my left leg, so the injury didn’t bother me.”

“We prepared very seriously for this championship, the Olympic cycle is over, we won all the highest awards at the Olympics,” Viner-Usmanova noted when summing up the results. “Now, unfortunately, Yanochka Kudryavtseva and Rita Mamun have left. A change of generations, as usual. They have come replaced by two Averinas, Dina and Arina, and Sasha Soldatova, who competed at the world championships. And the twin girls were just on fire today, it was a benefit performance, they won two gold medals and two gold medals. Today they won a place at the championship. world on a sporting basis."

In the end, Soldatova’s assets included gold in the team championship and two silvers in separate events - with a hoop and with a ball.

I definitely haven't lost anything. There you can only be banned if you defend Russia, as with sanctions, and if you constantly scold, you are in favor. One admin on Tory has gone completely crazy, I also like Tory well, but not to that extent, the other is clearly a fosterling of the USSR, she went to the 90s, because they lured her with a piece, making amends for her guilt, now it’s important and no less important to everyone everything indicates, including who is right to root for, come on, we know these Frau, Miss Bock, but that’s a different story. But I’m all about my sheep, according to Anyuta Rizatdinova, no one anywhere, on any sites, pees boiling water, except for our Yulia, who has gone on temporary rest, motivation is difficult to find on any site except for sports UA or IA, well, like a donkey talks, so does this the site is called.

Irene writes:

Sometimes, as you read the comments there, the judges always made their hair stand on end, forever these Filanovskys and Ashrams

And a little earlier, Zhenya Kanaeva was crucified avidly, and her arms and legs were not the same, but Zhenya did not give a reason to gloat, Anya Bessonova is a saint, underestimated. And Anya was an emotional and in her own way a brilliant gymnast, but with an eternal heap of dirt in the elements of the body, she amazingly did only the jump, everything else was on the verge of a foul, especially the always wobbling attitude, in the attitude there are no equals to Vedeneeva Katya and Yana, but Yana turned fewer revolutions , three and that’s it, but very clean and beautiful, but Anya always goes after Russian gymnasts in interviews, cutely batting her eyes with a languid expression, I always remember one simple phrase. - "banal envy." Thank God, although Rizatdinova was not elevated to sainthood, only to almost pre-sainthood, here, even with all the dislike for Russia and its gymnasts, there was not enough spirit. In general, Russian gymnasts always get it from both ours and the enemy, I criticize Russians with love and worry, sometimes it goes beyond the limits, Inna will understand.

But since I started talking about a painful topic, the sisters, who are not particularly loved by me, and Sasha is still two proverbial heads taller than everyone else, well, that’s a fact for now, no matter what. Only Belarusians are close, Ukrainian personalities are in the ass, I read here on all sorts of gymnastics resources about incredible joy, and that Vika DIDN’T DROP, hallelujah, and to all the gods in their boots, as soon as the world did not collapse, it turns out that the gymnast is a top The country's gymnastics should receive applause just for not dropping it, the group is really good, I'm not going to lie. Why are some Utyashevs here (Laysan has strong nerves, she won’t be offended) and Sveta got angry, I don’t know. In general, the Internet implies a rigid form of communication, and subjective sports especially. Irene. - Soviet Union, but pasaran. Sweet light, I’m not sleeping, but I’m sitting quietly and peacefully, not that I haven’t broken a single button accordion. Today I met a woman from Belarus, I forgot the name of the city, in N.., somewhere closer to Lithuania, she turned out to know about gymnastics, not just about Alina Kabaeva and Lyuba Cherkashina, but even remembered Sasha Merkulova, I started chattering so much, even myself Then it was awkward, they let the lousy one into the bathhouse.

Instead of a lousy tablet, I first printed a street one, eye and eye behind it, well, how could it be easier with a laptop. Good night.

Good morning. Marina, perhaps this is Novogrudok. http://poshyk.info/novogrudok/. A small town in the Grodno region. Since the 13th century it has been the capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. There is a partially preserved castle, 2 towers out of 7. It was destroyed during the Northern War in 1705. To imagine “how it was” there are engravings and a computer. reconstruction :). In general, the town breathes history, stands on the most beautiful hills. I highly recommend visiting!

http://samostoyatelnye-puteshestviya.ru/novogrudok-foto-dostoprimechatel... And don’t even think about the posts of young fans, education is just so bad there. Along with intelligence.

Tell us, what part of Italy is Santorini? And we are waiting for the photos, you are so cool at describing your travels. Not food and boring shopping, but places seen and loved. In this you are my soul mate)). How was it there? A woman can live a day on one sandwich and two compliments! In our case, on oatmeal and impressions. No, you can listen to some exotic dish or try the national hit of the Czech Republic or Mexico, no question. Without fanaticism)). About Sasha. For gymnastics, she swung sharply and it was difficult for her to hold the weight. But now I sometimes look at her Instagram - amazingly beautiful girl! And she and her husband are very good. gentle couple It seems to me that both are very kind people)).

Tonya, this is Novopolotsk! And Santorini is in Greece, but all my life I thought it was Italy, Sasha Merkulova, are you talking about it? A very nice girl, beautiful. Santorini is beautiful, but I got lost, Irene already wrote, and there’s no desire to get lost, the ferry will leave and do as you please, I’d have to spend the night on the beach, I forgot both my money and my card, I’d sit with 10 euros like a homeless woman, I took a photo, then I looked in surprise, was I really there, but I realized my childhood dream, Vasya was here, then I’ll send you away. Here in Greece, the oak and nasty rains, my teeth are chattering, it’s very exotic. I liked the island of Spinalonga, it has a Venetian fortress, but people rush there because there was a leper colony there, there is a film based on the book by Victoria Hislop, called “The Island”, it was filmed there, I didn’t watch it, then I’ll watch it at home. Despite the severe and terrible disease, people there fell in love, got married, gave birth to children, we were told that 26 were born, 20 healthy and 6 sick, and the parents wanted the children to be born with leprosy, so that the child would not be taken away, the healthy ones would be taken to the mainland to relatives or to a shelter. There was a guy there, he fell in love with a girl, and then it turned out that he didn’t have leprosy, but psoriasis, but he stayed there for the sake of the girl, she was almost blind, maybe these are stories, but beautiful and sad ones. During the war, the island was mined, or rather the water area around it, so that people would not go to Crete

and they wanted to sail, since they stopped bringing food, several people tried to swim away and blew themselves up, but the Nazis still let the Red Cross there, they survived, left the island in 1957, and in 1947 they began treating leprosy. Sorry for the flood. We are sitting with a woman from Perm on the neighboring balconies, they have snow there, her daughter sent her a video, and mine sent a selfish letter, buy me, mom, some fun sneakers and a dress. As if there are no sneakers in Russia, I bought her sneakers with sheep, I wanted ones with piglets, but I couldn’t find them, but they’re not boring, maybe I’ll find a dress with piglets, I actually already bought her one without piglets, beautiful, electric blue, but I didn’t say, I’ll come, first I’ll say that I didn’t buy anything, I’m doing harm, and then I’ll give it back. :) I bought Greek slippers with huge pompoms for my husband, he will be stunned, my husband is serious and reserved, and it is difficult to combine with pompoms, we need to film him at the moment of presenting the gift. I also bought size 45 for his brother from both of them, as if to guess, so that I could give it to both of them at once, their smart faces would start to look stupid at least for a minute.

And to be honest, I love giving gifts. Once I gave my husband’s brother a Toledo knife, so they attacked him, and he waved this knife, although they managed to break his face, so the attackers ran away, and my beloved brother-in-law spent 2 days in the punishment cell for using a bladed weapon, but nothing happened, and my knife was confiscated , probably the gift went to the cop, but oh well.

On the first day of competition, May 19, junior teams in groups will present their programs with 10 clubs for the first time, seniors will compete in exercises with a hoop and a ball.

On Saturday, May 20, the groups will present a program with 10 clubs for the second time, the start list will be formed based on the results of the groups’ performance the day before.

The seniors will have competitions in exercises with clubs and ribbon.

Based on the results of their performances, the top 8 gymnasts and groups each qualify for the finals, which will take place on May 21.

The Russian national team in Budapest at the 2017 European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships will perform as follows:

Alexandra Soldatova, Dina, Averina, Arina Averina

On the same topic

April 21, 2017.

All-around. Men.

In the men's all-around, Russian Artur Dalaloyan won silver with a total of 85.498 points. In the fight for gold, Ukrainian Oleg Vernyaev was ahead of Dalaloyan by 0.368 points. Briton James Hall won bronze, and Russian Nikita Ignatiev stopped one step away from the podium.

All-around. Women.

15-year-old Elena Eremina took fourth place in the all-around. Britain's Elissa Downey won, Hungary's Zsofia Kovacs was second, and France's Melanie De Jesus Dos Santos was third. Another representative of Russia, Natalya Kapitonova, finished ninth.

The coaching staff of the Russian national team is outraged by the judging of the women's all-around at the Championship.

“Absolutely incomprehensible decisions were made that deprived Elena Eremina of bronze,” senior coach of the national team Valentina Rodionenko told reporters: “We were outraged by the way the three leaders were judged at the end of the competition, when they could not decide who took third place. Here they show Eremin that she won bronze, and then suddenly she was dropped to fourth place. This outraged us terribly. We still cannot understand what happened there. The Frenchwoman who eventually took bronze came out of nowhere. She was nowhere close. She failed the bars, failed the beam, and then ended up in third place.

We thought about it and did not file a protest; there are still competitions on individual apparatus ahead. There is no use arguing with the judges. If we sum up the performance of our girls in the all-around, today Eremina did what she was capable of. The only thing is that she had no right to make mistakes on the balance beam. The same applies to Kapitonova. But for the first start at such serious competitions as the European Championships, this is quite normal.”

Rodionenko also emphasized that the Russians’ mistakes on the beam will be a separate topic for analysis: “The only thing that didn’t suit us was their falls from the beam. But this will be a separate topic for analysis. Otherwise, the girls did what they needed to do. They have better marks on bars, decent floor exercises.”
