  • Passengers who transport weapons, luggage in the passenger seat and who have prohibited items or substances in their luggage or carry-on luggage, as well as large oversized luggage.

  • Traveling groups from 9 people.

How to check in online for a Pegas Fly flight

Pegas Fly online check-in opens 24 hours before and closes 1 hour before flight departure. On international flights flying from foreign airports to Russia (with the exception of Antalya, Yerevan, Cam Ranh), online check-in ends 4 hours before takeoff.

To register online, the passenger needs to go to the Pegas Fly website in the “Check-in for flight” section, where you need to indicate the passenger’s last name and air ticket number, as in the itinerary receipt, and then click the “Search” button.

To complete online registration you will need

  • Passenger's last name.
  • Air ticket number.

Completing online registration

After entering the passenger's data, the Pegas Fly website will show the departure time and flight route. You need to select a passenger (check the box next to the last name) and proceed to selecting a seat in the aircraft cabin. After choosing a place, you must click on the “Register” button.

Additional services

It is worth noting that rates for baggage, meals, selection of comfortable seats in the aircraft cabin and other additional services are usually lower during online check-in than at the airport.

Completing online registration

After completing online check-in, print your boarding pass. Even if the airport supports electronic boarding, it is better to be safe. The phone may run out of power, freeze, or get lost. If a passenger does not provide a boarding pass, he will not be allowed to board the plane.

In addition, in cases of flight delays or cancellations, Pegas Fly employees will make notes on the boarding pass, which can then be used to receive compensation.

If you don't have a printer, print your boarding pass at the airport - at the Pegas Fly check-in counter or at a self-check-in kiosk.

Continuing the series of articles about independent online check-in for flights of various airlines via the Internet, I decided to tell and show how to check-in for flights operated by the Turkish low-cost airline Pegasus Airlines. This will allow you to get more advantageous seats on the plane, not spend extra time and money at the airport, and will also save your nerves. In addition, when you check-in for a flight online, you will receive bonus euros into your account in the Pegasus Plus loyalty program (€6 on international flights and ~€2 for flights within Turkey).

Online check-in for flights begins 72 hours before departure and ends 40 minutes. After registering, you will receive an email to your email which you will need to print and present upon boarding, so make sure you have access to a printer!

Well, let's start registering. You need to start by going to the official Pegasus Airlines website using this link and switching the interface language to English. This is important to do, because at the time of writing the article, the Russian interface had a lot of errors and registration froze halfway through. You can switch the language in the menu located at the top left. Then continue check-in for the flight.

In the system, which by default displays the flight booking selection, go to the tab CHECK-IN and fill out three points:

  • Your reservation number (PNR)– the registration number, which is issued when purchasing a ticket, consists of 6 characters
  • Name– passenger’s name, as on the ticket
  • Surname– passenger’s last name

Once you are sure that the fields are filled out correctly, click Continue.

A pop-up window will open in which you will need to register. If the window does not appear, check that your browser does not have pop-up blocking enabled!

The site gives us a list of all the “shoulders” of air travel. It is worth noting that each of them requires separate registration. Therefore, we start with what is in the window Flights open for online check-in we find the flight that we want to register now, and Passanger Information We note the passengers to whom registration will apply.

Please note that you can enter a phone number registered in the program Pegasus Plus and receive a small bonus to your account.

Then check the box that you agree with the rules of online registration - I have read and accept online check-in rules and press the button Continue.

At the next step, we are asked to choose a location. Since the Pegasus company is a budget company, not everything is so simple here. On the one hand, there is no opportunity to choose a specific seat for free, and on the other hand, there is no terrible WizzAir practice of “Whoever gets there first takes the seat,” which leads to terrible crowding.

Here, during online registration, the system automatically determines your place. And if it doesn’t suit you, then you can choose another one for a fee (the price varies depending on the type of seat: near a window, aisle, or with extra legroom). I've written before about how to choose the best seat on a plane. I was lucky, the computer itself assigned me to my favorite place - near the window. Button Continue let's move on to the next step.

Here the passenger is shown his baggage allowance and given the opportunity to pay extra for excess baggage. I was flying from Ukraine, so free hand luggage + 20 kilograms of checked luggage was included in the ticket price. This is enough in most cases, especially if you pack your things wisely for the trip and even buy souvenirs. If this is not enough, select additional weight at Weight of purchased exess baggage – Increase your baggage. After making sure that everything was done correctly, click again Continue.

Please note that the option to add baggage weight disappears 4 hours before departure!

If you are flying for a long time or are just a fan of airplane food like me, you can order meals for the road. It is worth noting that, unlike many other low-cost restaurants, the food here consists of quite decent dishes, and not a Lion bar and nuts at a price of 20 euros apiece. Here for 20 euros you can order a completely full menu with first, second and dessert. In addition, there is a special menu (dietary, for diabetics, etc.).

It is worth noting that meal selection is available no later than 24 hours before flight departure.

If you don’t need food or you’ve already chosen it, move on.

At this point, registration for the shoulder is completed. You can print your boarding pass by clicking on the button Print or send a link to the document via mobile phone or E-mail. This pass will allow you to board if you do not have checked baggage. If there is, you will have to hand it in along with everyone else where check-in takes place at the airport.

Airport check-in

You must be at the airport at least 2 hours before departure to avoid problems with your flight. Check-in for Pegasus flights closes 45 minutes before departure for domestic flights in Turkey and 60 minutes before departure for international flights. Passengers who do not have time to check in for a flight at the specified time lose the right to carry out this flight. During check-in, passengers are required to carry a photo identification document (such as national ID, driver's license, marriage certificate) for domestic flights within Turkey and a passport for international flights. Passport and ID are required for flights to Northern Cyprus, driving license will not be accepted. Children under 18 years of age traveling to Northern Cyprus with a national Turkish ID card must have a power of attorney from their parents. This power of attorney must be certified by a notary or official authorities. Children under 18 years of age traveling with their mother must have a power of attorney from their father; If children under 18 years of age are traveling with their father, they must have a power of attorney from their mother. Passengers will not be allowed on the flight if these conditions are not met.
